We have been very busy on alternative projects recently, but just to say that there have been lots of updates going on in the live world right now.
Waldorf has updated a fair few of its products including Wave 3.v being updated to version 2! I still think they are just a bit too expensive, but prices of pretty much everything is sky high this year…
OBS 32 is in beta and finally, finally there is a simple plugin manager. Only about 5 years too late, but hey better late than never…
Kontrast a new wavetable synth from Dawesome is nearly upon us, and the beta looks and sounds great. Something worth looking forward to!
Ozone has had a few releases in the 12.x.x series and it looks to continue it’s position as one of the best tools out there. I will be having a look/test of this soon(ish)
Physical Audio has bumped up the versions of most of its plugins as well – again a test of them coming soon!
AI is continuing to move forward rapidly with nano banana and various music AI models getting better and better – though I am still suprised at the wholesale theft of copyright that has been allowed to make these tools and how will it impact jobs and artists in the coming years, negatively is my take and I am seeing AI result in lots of job losses already and a slew of scams hitting people as well…
So look out for a load of new content soon – it is coming but I don’t have a timeframe for it!
