If you are of a certain age, then you will know all about Gary Numan and the impact he had on the charts and the “pop” music of the late 70’s and early 80’s. The Pleasure Principle with its René Magritte inspired cover and a certain ethereal sound all over it was a big part of my growing up and musical education. In the video below Alex Ball delves into the sound that is eponymous with the Numanoids from that long lost time. There is even a version of Cars at the end!
