After rightly being called out by literally everyone over the debacle with its Soundbox sampleplayer and plugin being free yet not working unless you purchased an expansion pack, finally Audiomodern have actually made it free. V1.04 is available now and is actually free so you can get using it and load in any free libraries that exist. Possibly the boat has now sailed though as this has not gone down well at all with those who looked at it and reviewed it, but I will now revisit it and review after putting it through its paces over a couple of days.
Also available, well because it would be pointless if they didn’t release it, is a free expansion for Soundbox called Mechania, which you can download from the Audiomodern website. I will include this in the review!
