A friend of mine has been restoring Live Shows that are otherwise unavailable for a few years now and his latest restoration caught my eye (ear?) as it is of Karl Bartos, he of Kraftwerk fame, playing solo and live in 2000 in Koln at the Electronic Beats Festival. Despite the vocals sometimes having a coffee far away from the rest of the music it is still a fine example of how Karl was arguably the driving force behind the classic Kraftwerk albums of the late 70’s and early 80’s. It is well worth checking out and perhaps even donating some money to keep this great resource going…
